The underpainting was a bright Cadmium yellow with a dark purple-brown calligrahy line intersected by two more shorter lines. As I explored the idea of movement, the 'wind' took shape and just a few moments later, the figure began to emerge. I enjoy the spontenaity of how this painting was created, recording the joy and energy of the moment. Acrylics allow the quickness of painting layers and painting on location.
